IT Governance Groups consist of senior representatives from administrative departments and Academic Senate, and can be supplemented with additional members when such additions would prove beneficial to the evaluation of a proposal.

Governance groups may:

  • Determine if additional action is required prior to project approval.
  • Adjust the priority of active projects.
  • Review Tier 1 projects to determine impact on the project portfolio.
  • Review future projects, including incoming software packages and services in the pipeline.
  • Approve Tier 2 and Tier 3 projects.
